Welcome Corps – Refugee Sponsorship in USA
Welcome Corps is similar to Canadian Private Sponsorship Program but also a little different. In both Countries– Sponsors can choose who to Sponsor- if they know someone- or simply be set up with a Refugee family in need. Main issue is that there are people waiting and praying to find Freedom. Our organization focuses on Christian Refugee Families in Thailand. Other groups might focus on other things.

You could not say it any better. “Transformative Service. Inspired Opportunity. Be a Bridge !”
We have a waiting list of hundreds of Christian families who would love to come to North America. They would be happy to go either to Canada or USA.
We do not charge for our services.
Canadian Private Sponsorship is different from the American Welcome Corps because the Sponsors in Canada -are responsible for the Refugee Family financially and emotionally for one year and USA Welcome Corps are responsible for 3 months. In both Canada and USA -the Private Sponsorship – allows them to choose the family they wish to Sponsor. Each family must be accepted by Canadian or American Government. In most cases the Refugee family will arrive in 4-6 months after approval. Government will not charge for Refugee application !! It is free. We do not charge fees.
Churches can be the best help for newcomers to help them adjust to life in Canada or USA.
Newcomers need a supportive Community and Friends around them. They need help in finding jobs or ESL- School or Job Training. We have more people in Church than just one individual. That is why Churches can do excellent work in helping newcomers in practical ways and by being friends to them. If your Church or Organization wants to Sponsor Refugee Families, do not hesitate to contact us. We have list of hundreds of Christian families praying for Freedom and ready to come to Canada or USA
And again…. We understand some people like to Sponsor a Refugee Family in Thailand or Donate money for our Resettlement Fund. Others welcome newcomers to Canada or USA. Whatever you decide to do – all of it – is important and as the American Welcome Corps said.
