Christmas Message -2024
We wish you a very Blessed Christmas .We also wish to thank you for your prayers and support and encouragement .We cannot do this work without people standing with us. We need sponsors and we are thankful for the kindness and Support from many people during this year. We also wish to say that knowing all our families in Thailand and hearing their stories have been a blessing to us. We are proud to be part of their life, and we pray for them regularly.
Hearts and Hands for Refugees Canada – started because our founder – lived as a Refugee in Thailand for 6 years and could not forget the many families that were left behind. Of course, when we started- we really had no money, and we talked, and we prayed. Then I had a bright Idea – I said…let’s start a $ 50 dollar Club. We all gave $50 dollars and as we added the funds together it was enough to Sponsor one family. That is how we started.
Our Founder knew hundreds and hundreds of families personally from his time in Thailand.
Many of them called him weekly in Canada. He heard one sad story after another and started telling us the stories of the people he knew. We realized that we are dealing with hugely complex issues and yet it did not scare us away. When Refugee Families Leave their home country, they lose their friends and families and community support. That is why it is important Refugee Families in Thailand to know that someone cares for them. To know they are not alone. To Know they are not forgotten. To know someone understands their Suffering and wants to help.

This Video shows the real struggle of the Families we help and the constant pressure they are under. They truly need our Prayers as well as practical help. There are thousands of families in same situation and we need Sponsors to be able to make a difference and be able to help many more families.
