Christmas is almost here
Christmas is not necessarily good news to a lot of people in this world. Western World has turned the whole Christmas season into a frenzy of activities, events and parties and gift giving. In the midst of all of it many seemed to have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas.
As Christians we want to Celebrate the Birth of Christ. It is the Biggest Miracle in the History of Mankind. God did not have to do anything for us. But He did. He became a man and lived among us to show us His Love. He walked among us. He prayed for the people. He showed compassion. He was the King of Righteousness and the King of Peace. Yet, He became the Servant of all. He reached out to us. He became one of us. Yet, without Sin. He was Holy God and yet He was willing to become a Man.
He who was rich -became poor for our sakes. He was born in the Stable. He was the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and He owned the whole world. He did not need anything. He was the Supreme being. The only True God, full of Majesty who lived in a radiant light of glory. Surrounded by the Holy Angels. Surrounded by Beauty. Surrounded by Holiness and Peace. He left it all behind – in order- to become one of us and show us the way back to the Father. He was born to Redeem us from the power of sin and from the Satan’s grip . His Plan was to give Eternal Life to them that followed Him.
God revealed his Heart by His Actions He made His Dwelling among us. The Glorious God of Heaven came down to show us His Love. That is the miracle of Christmas. The wonder of God’s Love. The wonder of His Desire to Redeem us back .
“The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning”
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son,
who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1: 1-14
He Made His Dwelling Among Us. Think of that. He was here to show us the Way back to fellowship with God. Such powerful words. Please do not forget that -this Christmas. That is the Wonder of Christmas.
For so God Loved the World that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believed would not perish but have everlasting Life John 3 :16
Our Refugee Families have no freedom and they are often surrounded by uncertainty and fear. But they know the Lord. They rejoice in His Love and Praise Him daily for the Grace given to them. They Celebrate the biggest Miracle that ever happened in the History of Mankind.
Immanuel = God is With Us . That is the biggest Miracle !
