God is Watching Us….He is with Us
Every Person has dreams and hopes in their life. At least they should have. It is sad if a person has no ideals, no goals and no dreams. God made us to be that way. It is good to have dreams . We are on this earth for a purpose. We are here so we can get to know God and to walk with Him. We are here to be a Blessing to others
God also have a Dream and a Goal .His plan is that we would all come to know Him and spend Eternity with Him
John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have Eternal life
When I think about our Refugee Families in Thailand, I know they also have dreams and goals and plans. They wish their children could get a good education. Find a good job and eventually have a family of their own. They wish their children would walk close to God and be a Blessing to many. They wish their children would glorify God and let their light shine.
There is an old beautiful song called : From a Distance by Bette Midler. In one part of the Song it says :
It’s the hope of hopes, it’s the love of loves
This is the song of every man
And God is watching us, God is watching us
God is watching us from a distance
Oh, God is watching us, God is watching
God is watching us from a distance
I like to say that is God is not just watching His Own from a distance. He walks close to His People and walks right beside them. He hears every prayer and He wants to give new hope to our families in Thailand and strengthen them by the Power of the Holy Spirit. God knows the struggles of our Refugee families and in his books these families are the true heroes of faith. They have paid a price for following Jesus and it has not gone unnoticed by God. He will help his own.
Do we ever understand the mystery of suffering ? No, we don’t . But God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. He will make a way. We will trust Him. In all things ,we are more than Conquerors through Him who Loved us and gave Himself for us.
