This family has suffered greatly. They are vulnerable and desperate. They escaped death threats to seek Asylum and Safety in Thailand. Just like all our families. None of our families would have escaped if their situation was not serious and if their lives were not in danger. Whether other people believe it or not – is another issue. But that is their situation. I have mentioned before that their interviewers are trained to downplay every word they say, which makes their situation more than impossible. Other thing that makes giving a testimony difficult -is the fact that they are in panic and cannot think clearly and do not know HOW to present their case.
This family has only 3 people. The mother has mental health issues as a result of living in Thailand. The constant fear and stress broke her down and she lives in fear and anxiety. This is very loving family and committed to each other and they keep the faith. The daughter takes care of her mother. Father is very loving and kind to both of them. But it has been extremely hard for all of them. We love this family. They are kind and sweet and serve the Lord with all their hearts. The daughter wants to become a nurse, and the father is a handy man and can work in Construction.
