DREAMS DO COME TRUE -TODAY WE REJOICED.
Today, the Founder of Hearts and Hands for Refugees Canada– became a Canadian Citizen. Today was a wonderful day. Citizenship Ceremony in Surrey BC- Declared him a Canadian Citizen with all the rights and privileges that come with it.
He said his mother prayed for years that all her children would find safety and would be able to Serve God in Freedom. Also, many other Christians he came to know over the years in USA and other parts of the world – also prayed for him and God has answered all those prayers. The Road to Freedom was a hard one. When people run for their lives and become hunted rather than being a valued citizens of their own birth country that is tragic. It is sad. He served his time of suffering in Thailand and finally came to Canada.
Life in Canada proved to be full of obstacles and difficulties as well, but here he is – with Canadian Citizenship .He is a real Canadian. Canada is his New Home Country and he can leave the past behind.
Most people want everything in life to work out, right away and wish to find solutions to their situations quickly. It seems that most things in life are a process, though. Most things we come to value the most – involved learning, struggle, obstacles and disappointments and lots of prayer and trusting God. Things we received too easily – are seldom valued as they should be.
FREEDOM IS SOMETHING WE SHOULD ALL VALUE.
NOBODY VALUES FREEDOM LIKE REFUGEES.
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
