Reality of being a Refugee

Reality of being a Refugee

When people look at our Website they see beautiful pictures of our families and images of their cute children and smiling faces .By looking at those photos they might assume these people have no concerns and problems. They all look so happy. Reality is much more complicated than that.

May I give a bit of insight into this ?

Despite the beautiful photos or outward appearances that others might see, their daily life is defined by a struggle for survival, a lack of resources, and the constant fear of ending up in Prison. The beautiful clothes are mostly donated to them or home made. Please do not be distracted by the beautiful pictures of our families.Their lives are not easy and they are not smiling all the time.

Living as a refugee takes an emotional toll on parents .We see many health problems as a result of this lifestyle. .We also see the generational impact of their situation on the children.

Our Focus as an organization is to Restore Hope. We want our families to have dreams and plans for the future instead of just surviving. Hopelessness is a heavy burden to carry. Everyone needs Hope. Hope can be Restored.
