Refreshening your Soul
We all need Refreshening at times. Life has a way of getting to us and taking strength from us. Sometimes it means people have lack of energy or they are just tired of their specific circumstances.
God wants to Refreshen our Soul. As believers in Christ -we are Co-Workers with Christ. By faith we follow Him and serve Him. And very soon we realize He is also serving us. Ministering to us in so many ways. We just need to have eyes to see it.
Best way to receive Refreshening from God – is to Read His Word. I heard a new believer say: “When I read the Word of God – I am so touched. His words are so beautiful, so Alive and Powerful.”
God’s Word restores our faith and our innocence. Our simple faith gives us deep joy, and we realize God is always close to us. This lady felt that the Word of God took hold of her heart and her heart responded by being filled with Joy. She also said, Christians are obsessed by God’s Love. It means we often talk about God’s Love. Better word -would be Christians are “Amazed by God’s Love “. As Christians we are touched and impacted, encouraged and inspired by God and His Love and forever thankful for what God has done for us.
That is the Reality of our Walk with the Lord. But as people, at times our souls can get weary and tired and then God speaks to us through His Word and our Souls are Restored, uplifted. And Refreshened.
