More than Conquerors
Romans 8:37 In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us The question rises with this verse, as to what is conquering “ In All things “ ?
Matthew 13 : 1- 9 Jesus told us a parable of the Sower going out to Sow the Seed
Some of the seed fell on a Rocky ground so when trouble and persecution comes they quickly fall away. Some of the seed fell on the Thorns , when worries of life and deceitfulness or riches comes, it chokes the seed
Some of the seed fell on the good ground, he hears the Word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or danger or sword ?
As it is written: ‘For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, is able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
Romans 8:35-39 The list is different from the Gospel of Matthew 13 chapter. This is more direct. The list here is more Drastic. It talks about hardships ,persecution. famine. danger. sword .slaughter. death. life. angels. demons. future. present .any powers. Neither height or depth nor anything in all creation- none of these things can separate us from the Love of God.
The parable in Matthew shows that a person’s response to God’s Word determines what kind of soil his heart will have. In a good soil – God’s Word will take root and grow and produce crop for Eternity
Romans 8: 35-39 This verse goes way beyond the heart and soil issue .It goes to the Heart Connection to Christ Jesus. It boldly declares that nothing can separate us from the Love of God
Because of a real heart connection to Christ, they that belong to God and Love Him with all their hearts will become Conquerors. Their lives become a testimony that we are more than Conquerors through Him Who Loved us and gave Himself for us.
Worries of life. Troubles of Life. Persecution. Famine. Nakedness. Danger. Money problems. Health issues. Relationship issues. Loneliness. Fear. Lack of safety. Sword. Death. Angels or Demons. None of these things can separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus
NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD
Rom 8:37 In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Being a Conqueror in all things is possible because we have a heart connection to God
2. Cor 1: 3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort . God comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ . He comforts us
Isaiah 41:10 I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand hand He Will strengthen us
Deuteronomy 31: 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. He will Never Leave us or Forsake us
Isaiah 40:3 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint .Our Strength will be renewed
God’s Spirit works in our hearts , so we can soar above difficulties, through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 13 : 52 The believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit .Being Filled with the Holy Spirit – brings great Joy. This is the secret for Overcoming. He pour out His Joy
In the end – it is not what we do -but what God does in our hearts as we walk along life’s path
God calls us to hold fast onto Faith. Yes, Faith can be Costly. God calls us to Faithfulness and Obedience . God calls us to hold onto His Word
Let us Pray : Lord, We Believe in Miracles. We believe in the Power from on High. We Believe in Miracles. Come Lord, Touch us, Now.
