DO REFUGEES TAKE OUR JOBS ??
Some People Claim that is the case. Basically ,Canada won’t accept Educational /-Work History from other Countries. Which makes it very hard for Newcomers who have been well educated in their own countries. They can’t work in the field they were trained to work at. They have to go back to school and most have no Money. They are lucky if anyone hires them. That is the Reality.
Anyone who comes to Canada starts at the bottom of the Totem Pole, just like everyone else. They take the Jobs that nobody else wants. Cleaning jobs. They work at Restaurants and they work at Fast Food. They drive Uber – delivering Food and they drive Taxi Cabs. Nothing wrong with any of those jobs but sometimes Canadians refuse to do those jobs.
Now – realistically- did you ever think of it but if we had no Janitors and Restaurant workers and Staff at Local Grocery Stores and Gas Stations …our whole Economy would collapse !! Some people do not think about it but EVERY job is important and each one helps to keep our Country going.
That simply means…we should respect people no matter what job they might be doing. As long as they work and are honest and pay their bills – it is good.
REFUGEES DO NOT TAKE OUR JOBS. THEY ARE LUCKY TO GET ANY JOB , AT ALL.
Most of the First Generation Refugees and Immigrants are Poor. That is the Statistics. Unless they got a Rich uncle who sends them back to School and Receive some type of Certificate that help them get better jobs.
Refugees complain less than Canadians. They eat and live Simpler and they don’t waste money- like most of the Canadians do. They live with very little and are happy to be Safe. They tell their kids to study hard at school and they do. These families know what it means to be desperate and they work hard to make it . Most Refugee families convince their children to go to University.
Most Second generation Immigrants and Refugees do well because they realize without hard work you won’t get anywhere. They are willing to work hard and sacrifice for their families. Canada needs people like that.
Canadian kids tend to have have attitude. It’s called : “Entitlement – Attitude” It seems they don’t really care to study. Many young people don’t have very good work Ethics. They play with Cell phones while they should be serving Customers. They escape work to the lunch room and text their friends. It is all about Attitude
Canadians can find Jobs if they really want to and try to take life seriously. Yes, they can go to Trade School if they really want to. Canadians can take Courses that prepare them to work at Offices and Businesses.
Refugees are willing to take any Job and any Training so they can put Food on the Table. They are willing to sacrifice for their Families and live with little so the kids will have better life. Canada needs People like that.
WE NEED TO FORGET ABOUT REFUGEES TAKING OUR JOBS.
CANADA NEEDS REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS TO KEEP OUR ECONOMY GOING.
Biggest Challenge to Newcomers is to find Schooling /Courses that Prepare them for Work Force in Canada.
Most Refugees do not know anything about Courses they could take – in order to be hired by good companies and get better paying jobs. They do not want to take Student loans because they can barely feed their families as is.
In that regard Government should create Career Courses Specifically for Newcomers so they can be hired by Canadians and be able to provide for their Families.
