Aligning Your Heart with Faith
God calls us to Align our hearts with Faith. It seems that our the most natural response to any crises is Fear. God calls us out of Fear to Faith. God knows it is not good for us to live in Fear so He calls us out of Fear.
We choose to Trust in Him. Our Refugee families also choose to Trust God even when they don’t see answers to their prayers. We all need to choose to Trust God and Resist Fear in our specific circumstances .We all have some concerns in our life situations ,so we all need to choose daily to Trust in God.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see Hebr. 11 : 1
There is a story in the Bible where a Father asked Jesus to help him and then he cried out :
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief ” Mark 9: 23-25
This Father was completely honest before the Lord and the Lord heard him and his child was healed. We don’t need to pretend before God -we come as we are and He will teach us how to Trust Him. He will comfort our hearts in our crises and our difficult situations.
One of the biggest blessings God offers us is His Peace
There are people in the world who have all the good things the world can offer but they have no Peace. We are privileged to know that our God will Bless us with Peace. Our Refugee Families know that. In all their trials they have experienced over and over again how God can give them Peace.
Our secret is explained in 1. John 5: 4- 21
Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our Faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. OUR FAITH….OVERCOMES THE WORLD
Our Faith is not based on our ability to muster Faith. Our Faith is in Jesus. He is the beginner and finisher of our Faith. He said, He knows them that are His. He hears us. He loves us. He helps us.
The Foundation of God stands Firm, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are His (2 Tim 2:19)
I am saying this because our Refugee Families are living in very difficult situation and yet, they know who they Belong to .But, it does not mean they don’t have their many dark moments of struggle. They simply choose to Trust in God just like we all do and God Hears us and He will help us.
