The Lord is Never Late
The Lord is good to His People. He takes care of them. He covers them with His Grace .The question is : Can God Heal people who have been broken by life ? Can God heal people from past Trauma ? Can God heal Refugees affected by much suffering ? Yes, He can. I will tell you one thing our Pastor said in one of his sermons. He said :
BROKENESS IS NOT THE END OF YOU – GOD CAN REBUILD YOUR LIFE
I think that answers the question perfectly. Doesn’t it ? God can Heal.
TO BE CONTENT WE NEED TO KNOW JESUS .HE IS THE PRINCE OF PEACE. HE GIVES US PEACE. GREATEST GIFT GOD CAN OFFER IS – IS HIS PEACE
2.Tim 2:19 God’s solid foundation stands firm, “The Lord knows those who are His “
We need to contend for the Peace of God. Shalom of God is our most precious gift . The Enemy comes to kill ,steal and destroy but Jesus came to give us Life . So, what does the enemy go after ? He goes after the Peace. He wants to steal Peace from us. That is why we need prayer warriors around us, to pray for us ,when we feel Peace is not there. Even if no one prays for us – you can have your Peace back
Remember : If you lose your Peace 100 times a day – You can get it back 100 times a day
That is His Promise to His People .We need God’s Peace. It is not like the peace the world offers. This Peace comes from Heaven. His Peace calms the heart and brings with it deep Joy. It brings contentment. Clarity and ability to cope.
We must contend for the Peace of God. People who are traumatized and broken by life need Peace. They need forgiveness from God and they also need to forgive everyone who hurt them . We receive forgiveness for our own sins by faith and by faith we give it to those who sinned against us.
God Heals us as we enter His Presence. God can do in 10 minutes what counselors cannot do in 10 years of counseling. He knows exactly how to touch the heart and set it free from its burdens. Jesus is just a prayer away.
Joshua 24:15 Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve .But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord When people turn to GOD -that in itself brings healing. We are all wounded by our own sins as well as other people’s sins and its effects in our lives.
When we look at our refugee families, we see that they are suffering from the cruelty of other people These families carry the effects of someone else’s cruelty. Should they be angry at God and hate people ? They don’t need to hate anyone because they understand the world is full of sin and its effects .Sometimes we are touched by evil and we need to deal with the effects of it.
God is well able to heal each heart from the damage caused by this world. It is His desire to do so. Many people are not healed and never will be healed because they do not know the Lord. Spiritual healing, Comfort and Restoration comes from God.
“Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored?” — Jeremiah 8:22
God is our Healer. He is our Maker. He Loves us. We must not reject Him who made us We must not reject the One who calls us. He has a Fountain of Living Waters that is well able to heal us from all effects of sin. He calls us to turn to Him and He will pour out Living Waters over us and wash our hearts clean.
Someone said ; Never Trust a Man without a Limp
We are all limping one way or the other but God’s Grace is greater than all that. His Grace can shine through broken vessels. Healing simply means our past cannot control us. It cannot define us. We don’t live in the past and its damage . Our past damage cannot stop us from serving God and being a Blessing. We have a Choice to serve God or not to serve Him. He has power to Heal and Restore.
